Verona Presbyterian Church
Welcome! We are glad you have found us and would love to have you join us any Sunday for worship. We believe that worship is one of the most important ways for us to respond to God's love; and it is best done when shared together in a community!
What to Expect
Expect to be welcomed! You will have a rich experience of worship taking place in the presence of Jesus Christ. We are a small, tight-knit, congregation of 20-30 people on an average Sunday. Our atmosphere is casual and friendly, and we take our time greeting each other during the passing of the peace. When you come, you will have an opportunity to sing hymns and hear a simple sermon based on the Word of God. There is a time for shared prayers, and an offering is taken up. Children are included with a special message up front during the service. Come as you are. We won't single you out or embarrass you, but do expect to be challenged and sent back out into the world to do Christ's work!
Infants and Young Children
There is a "cry room" attached to the sanctuary that is available for your convenience. There are toys and space to move around a little more freely, and parents will still be able to hear and view the service. With that being said, families are encouraged to keep their children, of all ages, with them in the sanctuary in order to worship together. We are not concerned about a little extra "joyful noise!"
A street-level entrance to the church is available on the Second Ave side of the building and a chair lift is available for those who are unable to walk up the stairs to the sanctuary. Worship during the Summer months is typically held downstairs in the social hall, and is completely wheelchair accessible.

Don't worry about making noise, the congregation will not be able to hear you. A greeting is typically said to those on the phone during the passing of the peace.
